Daisy Kent borrowed clothes from her friends before going on The Bachelor.
Kent, 25, who appeared as a contestant on Joey GraziadeiSeason 28 of The bacheloropened up about her chic wardrobe featured on the show during an episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast on Thursday, April 11.
“I thank my friends because when I went on the show, they helped me pack,” she told the Bachelor Nation hosts Ben Higgins And Ashley Iaconetti.
“I had a night where some of my closest friends came over a few days before I left and we went through every single outfit I wanted to wear,” she added. Kent gushed that her best friends helped make a list of all the clothes she would pack, how to style them, and what hairstyle would look best.
“I had a lot of my friends’ old ball gowns,” she continued, noting that she wore the dresses to rose ceremonies. “I wore them, I looted them.”
Kent’s pink ceremony dresses included a green halter top with a plunging neckline, sparkly dresses, ruffled dresses, colorful gowns and more.
Perhaps her standout moment was at the final rose ceremony, when she wore a $350 red maxi dress from Nookie. The garment featured a figure-hugging silhouette, a strapless neckline and an edgy cutout across the bust. She accessorized her look with strappy heels and sparkly earrings.
For glamour, Kent wore soft makeup, including neutral eyeshadow, mascara and pink lips. She combed her blonde locks back into a ponytail. The 28-year-old Graziadei finally suggested it Kelsey Anderson during the finale after he and Daisy broke up.
After she was sent home and left the show, Kent offered to give her dress to a fan via social media.
“Who needs a ball gown? #thebachelor #prom,” she captioned a TikTok showing herself trying on the dress. Hundreds of fans begged her to send them the dress, while others suggested she repurpose it and give the design “new memories.”
