Christina Hall drops some wisdom about dental health.
Hall, 40, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 10, to share a recent revelation about her teeth that she discovered.
“When I was 16, I had a dental injury to a molar and had to have an emergency root canal,” the HGTV star wrote. “In 2020, my dentist saw via x-ray that the previous root canal showed signs of infection. So I went and had it replaced.”
This is where the molar puzzle comes into play.
“Fast forward to last week,” Hall continued. “The infection came back…so I had an infection that I have.” [sic] No symptoms of lasting for years!! Pretty worrying.”
Hall said she plans to “remedy things by explanting next week” and urged her followers to use her story as a cautionary tale because “an infection this long can lead to all sorts of health complications.”
“Without a root, you don’t feel there’s a problem,” she noted. “Of course, since our phones are listening to us, I read about all sorts of problems with old root canals [sic]. If you’ve ever had one, check it out as soon as possible.
Late last year, Hall had a separate medical emergency — literally.
In December 2023 the Christina in the country revealed that she “knocked over a martini glass and needed stitches.” Hall couldn’t help but acknowledge the bad timing of the injury, writing that it came “just in time for the holidays.”
She suffered the cut during a night out with her husband. Joshua Hall – whom she married in April 2022 – and four friends.
Before tying the knot with Joshua, 43, Christina was married to him Ant Anstead from 2018 to 2021, and they have a son together, Hudson4.
Christina’s first marriage was to her ex Flip or flop Costar Tarek El Moussa from 2009 until their separation in 2016. The couple has a daughter together Taylor13, and son Brayden8th.
El Moussa, 42, recently described what it was like working with Christina on her reality show after they announced their split.
“Christina and I were still under contract and filming the show, but of course the atmosphere on set was uncomfortable, to say the least,” he wrote in his book Turn your life around: How to find opportunities in times of need – in real estate, in business and in your personal life, which was released in February 2024. “The production team did their best to keep things positive, efficient and professional, but for months the energy was terrible. Every time I was on set, I said to myself, in many words, ‘You’re going to get through this.’ It was about sticking to the basics and taking one small step at a time.”
