When Teigen and Legend made their rare appearance together The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon On Thursday they didn’t come alone – they brought their fur babies with them!
The couple brought two of their four dogs, Petey and Penny. In addition to Petey and Penny, they own Pearl the Basset Hound and their newest member, Pebbles. The puppies inspired her line of dog food and treats, The kismetwhich started on May 1st.
“So we have four kids, four dogs. “It was time,” said Teigen when asked why she and her husband founded Kismet. “I’m obviously very interested in the food world, so this is just a natural extension of that and it’s been great. It is really fun.”
The couple described why they built their brand Instagram.
“📢 Attention dog people!” the caption read. “After all the years of having dogs in our lives, we never really felt like there was a brand that nailed the dog parenting thing. Life with dogs can be chaotic and hectic, but also absolutely heartbreaking. “We wanted a brand.” That’s what it felt like.”
Kismet is made by dog lovers for dog lovers.
“So we decided to build one together,” the post continues. “A brand that feels and looks different – something for pets AND their people. We’ve worked with certified veterinary nutritionists to develop delicious dog food that’s just as nutritious as fresh, but more convenient and affordable. We also have treats, merch we actually want to wear, bingeable content, and more.”
Teigen and Legend said their dogs (and Drew Barrymore’s too) love the premium food. Upon request from Fall on To prove it, Legend was ready.
“We have a few of them here.” The voice Coach revealed. “Do you want to meet her?”
As the crowd cheered with applause, Teigen exited Petey, an adorable giant poodle wearing a bandana in Kismet brand colors. She led Petey to Fallon and then asked the pup to give the host a big hug.
While standing on his hind legs, Petey was almost as tall as Fallon.
“What the hell are you? You’re beautiful. “Oh my God, you’re beautiful,” Fallon said with a big smile as Petey placed his paws on his shoulders. “That was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
“That’s the only trick he knows,” Teigen joked as she led Petey back to the couch.
“This is Petey, he likes hugs. He’s the big guy. And this is Penny, she’s our three-legged friend,” Legend said while holding Penny, their French bulldog. “She was mistreated. She is our oldest dog. She’s ten and a half years old now.”
Penny also wore a bandana in Kismet brand colors.
“She saw every part of us,” agreed Teigen. “She saw the dogs we had early in our relationship come and go. She has been there for every baby, every loss, everything we have ever experienced. She is our everything.” “
“She’s a piece of cake,” Legend added.
The dogs were rewarded with kismet treats by Fallon and Legend.
But the family couldn’t leave the stage without Petey giving Fallon one last heartwarming hug.
