Calvary is Partnering with Salesforce to Build a Digital Platform

Calvary has partnered with Salesforce to build a digital platform aimed at transforming connectivity across the organization and ultimately improving the experience of its patients, customers, residents, patients, donors and employees.

The Calvary Care System is designed to provide people with a seamless healthcare experience and provide access to appropriate care where a person wants or needs to be.

The digital platform aims to improve the customer experience for Calvary customers, residents and patients as they transition from one service to another, while allowing staff to adapt and adapt care services more efficiently.

Richard Taggart, national director of information technology and digital transformation at Calvary, said: “Calvary as an organization has changed fundamentally, and we must leverage new and innovative ways to deliver health care and create accessible, connected health pathways across the Calvary Care System.” This requires continued investment in upgrading facilities in line with best practice care models, which have changed significantly due to the pandemic.

“Improving and modernizing existing infrastructure to support modern clinical practice is one way to support our growth, but we have also invested in this digitalization program to enable modern and efficient care models,” Taggart said.

Calvary would initially use the cloud-based application for home care services before expanding to include residential aged care and hospital services nationwide over the next five years.

Calvary Home Care Executive Advisor Angie Robinson said she is excited to be at the forefront of advancing the organization’s digitalization of home care for the benefit of customers and employees.

“It is important that we do our best to help people age well in their home, or simply access services that improve the individual’s well-being at home,” Robinson said.

“The ability to quickly identify a client’s needs and then connect them with an appropriate Calvary home care service provided by the best possible person, as well as create pathways to other support as their needs change, is the ultimate goal .”

Through the platform, Calvary will be able to respond flexibly to customers’ changing needs, and employees will benefit by knowing customers’ needs in real time.

The development and implementation of the digital platform is expected to take approximately one year.
