It’s that time again – the next Call of Duty iteration is on the way and we’re returning to Black Ops. That’s right, after a four-year absence, fans of the Black Ops portion of the ever-popular FPS will be overjoyed and it will once again be set in a different era.

Is there a release date for Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War?
There is currently no release date for Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War, but since it is a CoD game, it is pretty easy to guess the release window. We expect Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War to release in November 2024just like many other Black Ops titles before it.
Black Ops 1, 2 and 3 were all released in early November, with 4 being the only exception to the rule thanks to an October release. Even looking back at Treyarch’s previous entries – World at War, for example – this was also a November release, so there seems to be a trend of the developer specifically using this month as a springboard.
However, if the game is finished and Activision wants to get a few more sales, perhaps before the holiday season is in full swing, we could see an October release, but only if it fits the puzzle properly.
Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War Platforms
We don’t have an official announcement yet about the platforms on which Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War will be released, but It’s safe to say you’ll see it on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Interestingly, however, leaks suggest that Gulf War will also appear on the previous generation consoles – PS4 and Xbox One. Although Call of Duty is synonymous with releasing on all available platforms, it will be interesting to see a newly released game running on them with high fidelity, as these consoles and their technology are outdated at this point.
It looks like Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War will also be coming to last-gen consoles. However, it will be the longest time the Call of Duty title has ever been available on last-gen consoles in a single generation:

Will there be a campaign for Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War?
While there has been a debate about whether Call of Duty titles should still have a campaign, the latest Modern Warfare titles have reignited demand for this mode. As for Black Ops Gulf War, There’s supposedly one campaign and one that has an open-world aspect.
This probably comes as no surprise as Activision has dabbled heavily in open-world experiences in CoD titles, but according to reports, Gulf War could be a first for the franchise. This is due to the suggestion that there will be a true open-world map, similar to Far Cry, where the player makes his way through space and takes on missions.
However, with this in mind, it seems that not all linear missions will disappear. Some will stay, but in what capacity is still unknown.
Who is the developer of Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War?
Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War is primarily developed by Treyarch who has been the lead developer of the Black Ops entries since its inception. However, the open-world-style campaign mentioned above is actually created by Raven Software, so it’s not a one-off affair.
This isn’t surprising given recent CoD releases and even Warzone, where multiple Activision studios have been brought into the mix to ensure the titles have enough content, the experience is sufficiently refined, and any bugs that slipped through are ironed out .
When will Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War play?
As the name of this Black Ops title suggests, it is set during the Gulf War era.
If you are unfamiliar with the Gulf War, it was an armed conflict in the early 1990s that involved various countries led by the United States fighting against Iraq. It included various well-known operations such as Desert Storm that could appear as missions in the game.
While Treyarch likes a good time jump during the campaign, so we could see various jumps, we don’t have any information on that at the moment, so we’ll have to wait for further revelations.
Will there be zombies in Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War?
Although it has not been officially confirmed, there are various reports from reliable sources There will be a traditional Treyarch Zombies experiencewith a turn-based affair that die-hard fans of the mode have been enjoying for some time.
This will be quite a departure from recent Zombies experiences, which are more open-world focused than the mode’s roots. However, this will be welcomed by most who have been playing Zombie Mode for years, as both the story and mechanics aren’t really up to par.
