MEGASports Illustrated Model Brooks Nader and husband Billy Haire have been separated for months.
Nader, 27, and Haire are preparing for a divorce after four years of marriage. Us weekly confirmed on Friday May 3rd. The estranged couple’s decision to separate was amicable. (Page six was the first to announce the news.)
The duo first met in New York City and dated for three years before Haire, an advertising executive, proposed in October 2018. According to Nader, their first date was actually a nightmare, but everything worked out in the end.
“I ate my first bite of sushi — he had already ordered everything — and sprinted to the bathroom where I was throwing up everywhere,” she shared in a November 2022 interview. “Because I became very ill, I had a stomach disease that I didn’t know about.”

She added: “Then I sprinted off the date and he thought I just didn’t like him and that was my way of getting out of it. “But I liked him then, and I still do today. There were lots of dates after that – he was totally hooked after I sprinted and threw up.”
They married during a wedding ceremony in December 2019 in New Orleans.
“We saw a lot of venues in New Orleans, and when we walked in we knew immediately that the church was a perfect fit for us,” Nader said brides in December 2019 when they detailed their wedding. “It is a beautiful Catholic church connected to a historic monastery.”
Nader spoke further about her history with New Orleans in an interview with People about their wedding.

“I grew up in Louisiana and studied in New Orleans for two years and love everything about the city,” the model gushed. “We’ll incorporate some fun New Orleans traditions, like a parade after the ceremony. It’s a staple for New Orleans weddings.”
Although Nader is a Southern girl at heart, she has now become a New Yorker – especially as her modeling career continues to blossom. She was offered her first shoot for it Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2019 after being spotted during a “swimming search.” She has appeared in the magazine every year since and even nabbed a cover in the 2023 issue.
While Nader didn’t discuss her marriage to Haire in many interviews following her rise to fame, she often shared snippets of their relationship on social media. The former duo were last seen together in February, during what appeared to be a romantic vacation in Mexico.
