Brittany Cartwright is over Jax TaylorHe notices that she continues to drink The valley.
In a preview clip for next week’s episode, Brittany, 35, tells Jax, 44, that she doesn’t “feel good” as a co-star. Janet CapernaHibachi dinner.
“What did you do to get you sick?” Jax asks, to which Brittany replies, “I think I’ll take this shot of sake. I’m in a lot of pain. I can’t even smell the smell of the hibachi. I felt sick.”
Brittany plans to get some rest at her house while Jax wants to stay.
“I have to go home, I think. That’s what I want to be here for. You have to stay,” she tells him. “I love game nights. I would not do that. I’m feeling really bad at the moment. I don’t know why I feel so sick.”
Despite Brittany’s attempts to elicit some sympathy from Jax, he brings up her “drinking” again. He specifically mentions how he “told” Brittany before that alcohol isn’t always the right choice for her.
“If you know something is going to make you sick, don’t drink it,” Jax shares in a confessional. Brittany gives her side of the story, telling the cameras: “I had a sake shot. It was my first drink of the evening. He snaps at me – it’s so hard to be someone’s punching bag all the time. It’s not fair.”
The valley previously highlighted Jax’s comments about Brittany’s drinking. An April episode showed footage of Jax reprimanding Brittany for being sick.
“You know better. Enough is enough. Stop the fuck drinking,” said Jax, who shares 3-year-old son Cruz with Brittany. “You want to have more kids? Act like a mom.”
Brittany explained how confused she was when Jax supported her outings – only to shame her later.
“The boys are so hypocritical and sometimes have these double standards. It’s so annoying. Like the other day, I wasn’t feeling well and Jax was making it worse,” she remarked to Janet. “He actually goes out a lot more than I do. Which I don’t care at all. He comes home drunk, but when I do it, it’s the worst thing in the world.”
Her co-star Janet, meanwhile, admitted to the cameras that she could see where Jax was coming from, adding: “Sometimes I’m a little worried about how excited Brittany gets, to be honest.” But at the same time, she is Married to Jax Taylor.”
Later in the episode, Jax sat down with Brittany to talk about how her drinking was causing him concern. “You came home and threw up everywhere. There was literally a bag of vomit in the driveway. “I want you to have fun, but I didn’t think you’d come home puking,” he explained. “I don’t understand why you can’t go out and have a few drinks. Why do you have to get to the point where you vomit?”
In response, Brittany made it clear that Jax can’t make her “feel guilty” if he drinks too. However, Jax didn’t understand her perspective as he felt like he didn’t act like that.
“I’m a little worried because not only is she my wife, but she’s also a mother,” he said in a confessional. “We need you. If you keep doing this, you’re going to destroy your body. There are other ways to have a good time. We live in California, you can smoke a joint. You can do other things.”
Jax and Brittany, who married in 2019, surprised fans earlier this year when they announced their split. Brittany has since opened up about the changes she wants from Jax before considering a reconciliation – by shaking up his partying habits.
“There are a lot of things and I don’t see enough effort on his part. He needs to go to therapy. He doesn’t have to stay out at the bar all the time. “He needs to respect me more and stop taking me for granted,” she revealed in an interview Us weekly Cover story. “I was closest to him and was kind of his punching bag. He constantly gave me vaccinations. I can’t deal with this for the rest of my life.”
The valley airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and is available to stream the next day on Peacock.
