Britney Spears is sparking fresh concerns for her well-being after she was photographed barefoot and wrapped in a blanket while holding a pillow as she left a famous West Hollywood hotel.
The 42-year-old pop star was seen leaving the Chateau Marmont late Wednesday night after an ambulance was called to the hotel on the Sunset Strip. At this point, it is unclear whether the ambulance was called for Spears, who was with her former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz.
Spears are seen barefoot while wrapped in a brown blanket and holding a pillow. She appears to be wearing short white shorts. She left the premises alone with others. The pop star did not make it into the ambulance that was called to the hotel.
An eyewitness tells ET, “Britney came out with Paul Richard Soliz and a few others. Someone gave her a blanket to throw over and she had a pillow on her front. She took a few steps, turned around and went back without getting in the stretcher they had brought out. Although it’s not clear whether the ambulance was called for Spears, the eyewitness adds that a woman in Spears’ entourage was seen talking to paramedics.
As for the ambulance called to the scene, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson tells ET that the LAFD received a 911 call at approximately 12:42 a.m. this morning (May 2, 2024) requesting assistance for an injured adult female, but The caller did not provide any information about the injury. An LAFD ambulance responded to the scene. At this point, the spokesman continued, it was unclear whether the paramedics encountered the injured person or whether they offered medical assistance. The ambulance left the Chateau Marmont at 1:17 a.m. without transporting anyone to the hospital. The spokesperson also added that there was no law enforcement response to this call.
ET has reached out to Spears for comment, but a source tells ET that Spears is now safe at home and doing well.
On Thursday, Spears published – and then deleted – a post on Instagram in which she appeared to try to refute reports about her whereabouts the night before. She posted a photo that appeared to be an AI-generated image of a man on the beach, but in the caption, Spears seemingly refuted the photo that showed her barefoot leaving Chateau Marmont.
“Just to let people know…the news is fake!!! Most of the pictures are body doubles and I think most people know that!!!” the caption read. “I want respect during this time so that people understand that I am getting stronger day by day!!! The truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie??? Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and beyond that, I hope you guys too!!! I need a new toothbrush now!!! PSS… I’m not sure why I feel the need to share this… I’m on my period right now so I’m sh*t… Shit.
Soliz is the man Spears was photographed with in Los Angeles back in August after her breakup with Spears out of Sam Asghari. He was Ride in the passenger seat with Spears behind the wheel of her Mercedes-Benz coupe.
A hatred previously reported They spent time together last summer after her split from Asghari. The following month, in September, ET learned that the “Gimme More” singer no longer saw the convicted felon. At this point, the nature of their relationship is unclear.
On Thursday, ET reported that Spears and Asghari have settled their divorce less than a year after the 29-year-old fitness trainer filed for divorce. The former couple, the tied the knot in June 2022had a Marriage settlement in place. According to documents obtained by ET, Asghari will not receive any financial compensation or spousal support as part of the settlement.
