Brandi Glanville is disappointed that more people aren’t paying attention to Bravo’s response Caroline Manzo‘s lawsuit The ultimate Real Housewives girls trip.
“Because of the lawsuits, they had to respond in their own lawsuit or response letter and say nothing bad happened,” Glanville, 51, said exclusively Us weekly at the grand opening of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center West Hollywood on Thursday, April 25. “They literally laid out what was done and no one cares. [It feels like the public only cares] when you’re down and out. They don’t care if you’re okay. She didn’t do anything. It’s very frustrating and disgusting.”
Earlier this month, Glanville took to social media to express his disappointment that Bravo’s response to Manzo’s lawsuit didn’t get more attention.
“Sooo I got confirmed by Bravo and :::No one cares!!!” Glanville wrote about X on April 17th. “I think it’s much more exciting when I’m accused of sexual assault or called a rapist. What’s wrong with fucking people? I think ruining lives is more exciting than SERIOUSLY justifying someone!”
Us has reached out to Bravo for comment on Glanville’s claims.
Although it’s unclear whether The Trip will ever air on Bravo or Peacock, Glanville hopes viewers will be able to see what happened when filming took place in early 2023.
“I’ve been asking for it to be aired all along,” she said. “We had such a good show that there was no need for this to be part of the plot. Just girls at a party having fun, everyone is having fun, no one is feeling uncomfortable. If [Manzo] “It was unpleasant, I feel sorry for her.”
Back in January, Manzo, 62, filed a lawsuit against Bravo and its production companies over an alleged “traumatic” incident involving Glanville during filming The ultimate Real Housewives girls trip in Morocco in early 2023.
In court documents obtained from UsManzo claimed that an “obviously drunk” Glanville sexually harassed her and kissed her without consent during filming Real Housewives spin off.
Although Glanville is not listed as a defendant in Manzo’s lawsuit, her legal team responded to the lawsuit in a statement Us “Unfortunately, Brandi woke up to another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false allegations about her.” During filming, Brandi followed the producers’ instructions and no sexual assault occurred. She is innocent of these absurd allegations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a supportive word from Peacock, Shed or Bravo.”
In April, The ultimate Real Housewives girls’ trip executive producer Lisa Shannon also responded to Manzo’s lawsuit. In court documents obtained from Entertainment tonightShannon claimed that Manzo “told us that she didn’t feel sexually violated, but that she felt ‘disrespected’ by Glanville.”
“Our primary concern at this point was to ensure that Manzo felt safe,” Shannon claimed in court documents. “She told us that she felt safe, that she wanted to continue filming and that she didn’t want Glanville to be sent home.”
As the lawsuits continue to play out in court, Glanville said she has “no contact with” Manzo. Instead, she tries to focus on her mental and physical health. At the beginning of this year the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Alum revealed that she suffered from stress-related angioedema, a condition that causes swelling under the skin. Now she values self-care.
“It used to be about getting a facial or a mani-pedicure,” Glanville explained. “Now I just meditate and work on my breathwork. I’m still doing cosmetic things, but at the same time I’m trying to fix myself. I eat better, breathe better and actually exercise.”
Before exploring the newest location of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center, an anti-aging medical spa that offers a wide range of cosmetic services, Glanville expressed how grateful she was to get back out there.
“I’m excited,” she said. “I think this will be the first thing that gets me back to being myself.”
A broadcast date for season 5 of RHUGT – which also features Gretchen Rossi, Alex McCord, Camille Grammer Meyer, Eva Marcelle, Phaedra Parks And Vicki Gunvalson – has yet to be announced.
