Speaking on Thursday afternoon, Tejasswi Prakash spoke about earlier days in the industry and wearing knock-offs of iconic designer clothes. “Coming from a middle class family, I really feel that there is a huge population, 70 to 80 percent are middle class people and it is difficult for them or for us to get access or a Sabyasachi or Manish Malhotra -Bride to be or to wear.” Clothing by Falguni and Shane Peacock. It is easier for you to get imitations. That’s what I did initially. I had to go to an event and I was missing the concept of a stylist. So I got this fabric online and had my local tailor sew it. When the other actors said you could hire a stylist and get the things, I understood that these things matter.”
She continued: “I started hiring stylists who wore designer outfits. There were times when I was more appreciated when I wore something that looked good on me, regardless of who the designer or stylist was. It took me a while to learn.”
