The Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2024 began with a bang today with the panel discussion on ‘Social Media and Style Trends: Unraveling the Insta Effect’. It was honored by Ridhiema Tiwari, Anushka Sen and Avika Gor. The amazing actresses talked about style and fashion and at one important point they opened up about trolling.
Bollywood Hungama Style Icons 2024: Ridhiema Tiwari, Anushka Sen and Avika Gor Talk Trolling: “My Manager Advises Me to Stay Away; But I say ‘Kya bola, kyun bola’!”
Ridhiema Tiwari said: “Agar main ek picture daal rahi hoon, toh maine woh picture soch samaj ke daala hai so far that I know I don’t look like what I look like right now or how they are used to seeing me. “ a glamorous avatar. So I feel like as an actor you also have to be prepared for love and brickbats. I’m not very expensive, but I really don’t read comments. And when I read, I feel the need to respond, not just the good or the bad. My bosses often say, “Please stay away from trolls.” But there is a bone in me that is just waking up. I say, ‘Kya bola, kyun bola, kisne bola’!”
Ridhiema added: “However, when it comes to my looks, it doesn’t affect me that much. I have great confidence in my skin. I like to publish honest content in my stories, damn it. The more real you keep it, the more relativity there is for your audience.”
Avika Gor shared her mantra for trolling: “Delete and block Seedha! You don’t need negativity in your life. There’s enough drama anyway. I don’t have to give importance to a random man laying in bed, scrolling through profiles and making comments. That’s why my profile is blocked for a lot of people (laughs)!”
Anushka Sen said, “I feel sorry. I really feel sorry for you. They feel like they have to comment karke mujhe bura lagega. But look at millions of people who give so much love. More than love, they try to support you. I’m happy, my family is happy, my stylist is happy. These (trolls) don’t even matter from a larger perspective.”
Ridhiema Tiwari quipped, “We also earn money (through our contributions)!”
Anushka continued, “I really hope they get a life and are happy with it.”
