Glitz and glamor returns to Mumbai with the presentation of Macho Hint Bollywood Hungama The Style Icons Summit and Awards 2024 started its second edition. The event begins on May 2nd at the Taj Lands’ End and promises to be a star-studded celebration of the style and talent of the Indian entertainment industry. This year’s ceremony goes beyond just the awards ceremony. Industry insiders and fans can also look forward to exciting panel discussions with prominent personalities. The last panel of the day was from Constitution: The Diamond Bazaar in which Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Fardeen Khan and Sanjeeda Sheikh were present.
Bollywood Hungama Style Icons 2024: Richa Chadha recalls Sanjay offering her diverse song choices to Leela Bhansali for Heeramandi: ‘He is so cooperative’
The series debuted on Netflix on May 1, marking Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first series for the streaming giant. Although the performances opened to mixed reviews, they were met with acclaim. In Thursday’s session, the actors gave a glimpse into the creative process behind the web series and revealed the intricate details that will bring Bhansali’s vision to life.
During the session, Richa Chadha spoke about how Bhansali gave her three songs to choose for her sad track and this is how it happened “The innocent heart is mine” developed. Recalling that moment, Richa said, “He is very cooperative. In the second episode, there was a song, and I think he gave me three songs to listen to and asked if every character was in some kind of pain, so what song would your character respond to.” She said that he took it to another level step to work with the cast.
Constitution: The Diamond Bazaar is a visually stunning and emotionally charged drama. Set against the backdrop of India’s independence movement during the British Raj, the series explores the lives of courtesans, known as tawaifs, who live in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore.
The second edition of Macho Hint presents Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2024 in association with Cinema Waale Film and Television Productions LLP and Across Media Solution and will be held on May 2, 2024 at Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai. Apart from the stimulating panel discussions, the highlights of the awards ceremony are expected to include big names like Ajay Devgn, Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor and many more.
