This ubiquity begs the question: Does this constant scrutiny put undue pressure on celebrities to always maintain a flawless style quotient? The panelists delved deeply into this topic and examined the potential downsides of the “pap culture” phenomenon.
One could argue that the pressure to be photographed in trendy outfits can lead to a feeling of inauthenticity or a mismatch between a celebrity’s personal style and their public persona. The panelists likely discussed the importance of finding a balance between maintaining a stylish image and remaining true to individual fashion tastes.
The discussion also discussed the concept of the “airport look,” a phenomenon in which celebrities are photographed while traveling in carefully selected outfits. The panelists might have debated whether there is a fine line between expressing a personal style and succumbing to the pressure to project a particular image.
During the conversation, the topic of data protection came up and the panelists answered whether it had affected it in any way. Esha Gupta said that paparazzi have always respected her privacy. “They were always great and kind. I think one surprise was that they always respected my privacy. I think I once got really upset about a video and asked them not to post it. But it was posted and many comments sounded like she was trying to point things out. I thought, “No, I don’t live in India anymore.” “I have a lot of confidence in my body.” But it’s not the paparazzi’s fault. Many people do it intentionally to get attention, but people write negatively about it. I say, ‘Look, I’m not intentionally trying to show my tits. I’ll show it when I want and how I want.'”
Another interesting aspect of the discussion may have been the discussion of the term “too much”.
