Indian billionaire Gautam Singhania, chairman and managing director of Raymond Group, is a huge car enthusiast with an enviable collection of cars in his garage. Not only does he own high-quality cars, but he also takes part in professional races and competitions. We saw him driving several exotic and rare cars on the streets of Mumbai. This time we have a video in which Gautam Singhania’s new supercar McLaren 750S was spotted on the road. This is actually the third McLaren in his garage.
The video was shared by CS12 Vlogs on its YouTube channel. In this video, we see the businessman driving the supercar on a busy road in Mumbai. He is not alone; He has a Toyota Fortuner and a Mahindra Scorpio with security guards in it. We can clearly see Mr. Singhania behind the wheel of the McLaren 750S. Gautam Singhania’s 750S comes in a dual-tone shade of orange and black. It looks like the interior of this car is mostly black.
Although there were McLaren supercars in India, the brand only officially sold its models in the country last year. Last year, they opened a physical dealership in Mumbai and also started offering all their models to customers here. The 750S was launched earlier this year. The exterior design of the new McLaren 750S is actually an evolution of the popular 720S.
The differences between these two models are subtle. For example, the 750S gets a new front bumper with a larger splitter, larger air intakes to improve cooling and slimmer-looking LED headlights.
The supercar also features a larger active rear wing, which is 20 percent larger in area than the 720S. The rear wing increases downforce and improves braking performance.
The car features butterfly doors, a fully digital instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a multi-function steering wheel and so on. It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-plane V8 engine that produces a maximum of 750 hp and 800 Nm of maximum torque. The 750S is lighter than the 720S, which has improved its overall performance.
McLaren claims the 750S is 10 percent faster than the 720S. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2.8 seconds and the car reaches the 200 km/h mark in just 4.4 seconds. This supercar is worth Rs 5.91 crore ex-showroom.
Not the only McLaren
Gautam Singhania is a car enthusiast and this is not the only McLaren he has in his garage. He also owns a 720S, the first 720S to be brought to India. The car is registered in Dubai and was temporarily brought to India via carnet. He also owns a McLaren 570S, which is also registered in Dubai. We saw him driving these cars several times.
The 720S is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine that produces 710hp and 770Nm of torque. Acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h takes just 2.8 seconds, and the top speed is well over 300 km/h.
The 570S is powered by a 3.8-liter V8 biturbo engine that produces a maximum power of 567 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. This car can reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.2 seconds.
