The trailer for the action entertainer Brother was launched in Mumbai in the presence of the star cast and other unit members. The film is special not only because it is Manoj Bajpayee’s 100th film but also because the actor has never played such a big role before.

Manoj Bajpayee was asked if he had been offered such a role before. The actor replied: “No. I’ll be honest. Apoorv Singh Karki was the first director to offer me such a role.”
However, he added, “But the roles I was offered in commercial roles were for the second lead or the villain. “I did a film, Tevar (2015). It didn’t work… I took action Satyameva Jayate (2018) and Baaghi 2 (2018). These films worked great. But in Stories that accompany the film She came, I have a problem with her.”
Manoj Bajpayee said, “In our mainstream cinema, this is the biggest problem He doesn’t tell our story. The story of our society is not being told.. The heroes do not come from our culture, from small towns or villages. That was prevalent in the ’60s and ’70s.”
He continued: “As a result, we lost contact aam aadmi as they could not identify with the hero on screen. Therefore, it is important to make films that have strong cultural roots. Brother is one such film. The writers and makers have not compromised in portraying the culture and the relationship between the characters in the film. Be it the bond between the sons and the stepmother or the bond between the characters around me, it reflects how things are in the villages. I used to miss these aspects and that’s why I couldn’t do too many films like this.”
Brother It also stars Suvinder Vicky, Jatin Goswami, Vipin Sharma and Zoya Hussain. The film hits theaters on May 24th.
