Nelly shared a cryptic but sweet and playful message to his fiancée Ashanti while posting a photo of her growing baby bump.

Here is what Nelly wrote to his fiancée Ashanti
On Sunday, April 28, Nelly took to his Instagram Story to share a photo with Ashanti. In the picture, Ashanti appears to be sitting on Nelly’s lap and looking down at him. Meanwhile, the rapper holds his hand to his forehead and appears to make a rubbing motion.
Additionally, the rapper added a caption to the photo.
“NOT PRETTY OF COURSE, I’m fine… LUV U 2… @ASHANTI”
Social media reacts as Nelly clarifies his message with sweet words
Social media users took to The Shade Room’s comments section to guess what Nelly’s message to his fiancée was about.
Instagram user @kaveshaaa wrote: “She definitely asked if she was too heavy, that’s why he said what he said 😭😭😭”
While Instagram user @kychavon added: “The question was: “Am I heavy?” Nelly: “Of course not nice, I’m fine!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂”

Additionally, Ashanti commented on her own reaction to the rapper’s message via her Instagram Story.
“Lmaoooooooo!!!! Infant!!!! I will blow your mind!!!!!!” she wrote, followed by laughing emojis.
Finally, Nelly returned to his Instagram Story to give his fiancée some clarity while saying some kind words.
“What my love..?? I didn’t say anything..!!!” he wrote. “To me you are still the same size as you were in 2005..!!”
A brief summary of the couple’s pregnancy and engagement so far
As The Shade Room previously reported, social media users initially began speculating that Ashanti was pregnant in December 2023. That time she and Nelly showed up at a black and white event.
In now-deleted footage of their appearance together at the event, Nelly was seen rubbing Ashanti’s stomach. At the time, social media users reacted to his gesture in the comments section of The Shade Room.

Then in February, Ashanti showed up with her husband for a performance in Miami. In the shots shared afterwards, one couldn’t help but notice that the singer was wearing an oversized T-shirt for the occasion.
Then Ashanti confirmed fans’ speculation earlier this month, according to The Shade Room. The 43-year-old announced that not only is she and Nelly expecting their first child together, but she also shared that she and the rapper are engaged.
