Angelina Jolie is Said to Have Encouraged Children to Avoid Brad Pitt

A former security guard for Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie claims the actress was trying to drive a wedge between the actor and her children.

In court documents obtained by ET and filed on Thursday, Pitt’s lawyers claim that a former security guard, Tony Webb, was told that Jolie had instructed her children not to speak to Pitt during check-ins.

The documents also allege that Jolie attempted to silence security forces using non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

The documents were filed as part of the ex-partners’ years-long legal battle over their Château Miraval vineyard and their subsequent legal battle over the use of nondisclosure agreements.

According to court documents, Webb “was head of Jolie’s security detail for two decades and remained in that role for approximately four years after the couple divorced.”

Webb claims Jolie “required him and his contractors to sign nondisclosure agreements relating to various personal and professional details of her and her family’s lives.”

After The couple divorced and got into a custody battle The doctors allege that Webb “received several calls from Jolie’s representative, who urged Mr. Webb to remind his employees that they had entered into nondisclosure agreements with Jolie and that Jolie would sue them if they testified in a child custody case.”

Webb states that he passed this message on to his contractors and that both contractors “confirmed that they planned to testify if subpoenaed.”

Additionally, the documents allege that “one of them told Webb that he would testify about statements he overheard made by Ms. Jolie to the children, encouraging her not to spend time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits.”

The documents claim that “the two security companies both testified” despite the alleged threat of being sued, and “shortly thereafter, Jolie fired Mr. Webb’s company.”

It appears that Webb himself – who now works for Pitt – does not claim to have personally heard Jolie’s alleged comments to her children.

Jolie’s attorney Paul Murphy released a statement to ET on Thursday addressing the claims made in the documents.

“Mr. Pitt’s continued attempt to equate standard nondisclosure agreements for security guards and housekeepers regarding confidential information that employees learn at work, demanding an enhanced nondisclosure agreement to ensure that his deplorable actions continue to be covered up, remains shameful,” Murphy said. “This case is not about NDAs in general, but about power and control. All Angelina ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all family members, including Mr. Pitt. She looks forward to the day when he will finally be able to let her go.

The final submission comes just over a month later Jolie’s lawyers filed documents claiming Pitt was “physically abusive.” towards her before alleged 2016 incident on an airplanewhich she believes was the catalyst for her filing for divorce.

The motion, filed April 4 by Jolie’s legal team, centered largely on the former flames’ bitter legal battle over her ownership interest in her French winery, Château Miraval.

Jolie’s lawyers filed the motion asking a court to force Pitt and his legal team to provide “answers” and “documents” explaining why the Oscar-winning actor “suddenly conditioned his purchase of Jolie’s share of Miraval.” has made that it now agrees to a greatly expanded confidentiality agreement”. covering Pitt’s personal misconduct, whether related to Miraval or not.”

Jolie claims in the documents that Pitt’s demand for this nondisclosure agreement was his attempt to “cover up” his alleged abuse of her and their children.

Pitt was never charged with a crime following a government investigation into allegations of physical abuse on the 2016 flight.

Contrary to claims from Jolie’s lawyers, documents filed by Pitt’s legal team in June 2023 claim that it was actually Jolie’s team that requested a “more comprehensive” nondisclosure agreement, and not him.
