Anaergia Announces Resignation of Director Expected in Pending Transaction

BURLINGTON, Ontario – Anaergia Inc. (“anaergy” or the “Pursue) (TSX: ANRG) today announced the acceptance of the resignation of Mr. Frank McKenna from the Company’s Board of Directors, effective May 5, 2024. Previously, Mr. McKenna agreed to step down concurrently with the closing of the company’s final tranche, announcing a C$40.8 million equity investment (“Strategic investment“) from Marny Investissement SA (“Miserable“) (which is still pending) to create a vacancy for the appointment of a Marny candidate. Given the unexpected and prolonged delay in this completion, Mr. McKenna must meet other prior commitments. Mr. McKenna remains a committed supporter of Anaergia’s business.
