Time goes by. Production of the BMW G87 M2 has already been a year. More and more modifications are popping up left, right and center and the builds are getting crazier and more adventurous.

Today we wanted to share this unique example with you – the first packaged 2024 G87 M2 we’ve seen courtesy of The 3H air suspension system from Air Lift. We’re well aware that air suspension isn’t to everyone’s taste, but you have to admit it looks pretty darn cool. And if you love the loud look but also like to go places without taking off your front lip, bags are 100% the solution.

You will find a set under the air suspension BBS LMR three-piece split alloy wheels that are a true work of art and look perfect next to the vehicle’s black sapphire finish.

The first thing that catches the eye at the front of the vehicle are the CSL yellow daytime running light modules. The contrast with the dark paintwork of the vehicle makes it a welcome addition to the overall structure. A bit of color on an otherwise dark vehicle really brings things to life – a theme that continues at the rear of the car. More on this shortly.

Below, the car sits with an Edition 1 carbon fiber front splitter as part of MHC LDN’s full Edition 1 carbon kit. Fun fact: This was the first carbon kit available for the G87 M2 and it still looks perfect after a year. The G87 M2 has a fairly square front bumper, which makes creating a good-looking front lip quite a challenge. Nevertheless, the designers at MHC did a great job https://r44performance.com/collectio…on-fibre-parts

If you look closely, you’ll see that the glossy black center section of the front bumper has been swapped for a carbon version. This is a new piece for MHC catalog and we believe it will be quite a popular mod for G87 owners. Of course, the owner also opted for the carbon fiber front channels to round off the front end

We walk around the car and find this MHC LDN Edition 1 side skirts with a subtle recess to the flared rear wheel arch. The only other parts worth mentioning on the side of the vehicle are the carbon fiber mirror covers, which look more premium than the OEM mirror covers. All carbon fiber styling parts from MHC LDN are made from pre-impregnated Carbon with OEM fabric, perfect fit guarantee and 3 year guarantee. Although it is a more expensive option than laid wet Carbon you can rely on quality, fit and durability.

The magic happens in the back of the car. Not only is there the third and final component of the Edition 1 carbon kit in the form of the three-piece rear diffuser, but you will also notice the Maxton design carbon rear wing with the integrated dynamic LED light bar. This is the modification that really sets this G87 apart. The light bar moves and flashes and attracts everyone’s attention at trade fairs and on the go.

You’ll be excited to see that this example comes factory equipped with the Track Pack carbon fiber bucket seats – a sought-after optional extra. The owner has added a subtle authenticity M performance Alcantara armrest in the interior which is a nice touch.

In terms of performance, the car is largely up to standard. It’s running in Milltek Sporty OPF exhaust system, which gives the car a slightly deeper sound, but otherwise everything runs as usual. For those of you outside of Europe, OPFs are some gasoline particulate filters that are mandatory in the EU market for emissions reasons. Regardless of how much they choke the entire exhaust system, the owner of this car, like many others, chose not to remove them in order to keep the car fully street legal.
