Recently, a report by MoneyControl said that a bungalow right next to Amitabh Bachchan’s residence, Jalsa, has been put up for sale. Deutsche Bank has decided to auction this magnificent property with a reserve price of Rs. 25 crore and an EMD of Rs. 2.50 crore. It should be noted that since banks usually quote prices for auctions that are slightly lower than the market value, the original price of this bungalow can also be estimated at Rs 35 to 40 Crores apart from Amitabh Bachchan’s in the market. The property has 1164 square feet of carpeted area and an additional 2175 square feet of open space.
Amitabh Bachchan once revealed his favorite place in his residence, Jalsa
In one of his earlier blogs, Amitabh Bachchan had talked about the one holy place in his residence, Jalsa, which is his favorite place. Without being completely direct in his expression, Big B talked about how his recording room he called it Saptaswar was the place where he could feel the divine power of music. He also posted a picture of the location where he was seen surrounded by a microphone and mixer controller, as well as other other recording equipment. He spoke:
“A hint of a melody… accidental, conveyed to me during those wonderful moments in Saptaswar, that lasts day and night and changes one’s thoughts about what one pretends to do… the power of music is divine… It takes over all your thoughts, words and actions…leaving you exhausted…tired not in a physical sense…but exhausted from the idea of being envious of those who possess this special quality of making music.. ”

When Amitabh Bachchan revealed which of his films were shot at his house, Jalsa
Earlier, in one of his social media posts, Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of him and his wife Jaya Bachchan from the sets of their film. Shut your mouth. In the picture, a house could be seen in the background and the actor wrote a note revealing that the location was nowhere other than his bungalow Jalsa. Additionally, he also listed some of his other films that were shot at this location. In his words:
“Chupke Chupke”, our Hrishikesh MUKERJI film, ends today at 46 years. The house you see in the picture is producer NC Sippy’s house. We bought it, then sold it, then bought it back again. We rebuilt it. This is our home now, JALSA. Many films were filmed here. Anand, NamakHaram, Chupke Chupke, Satte pe Satta and many more.
