Recently, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Aayush recalled this harsh comment in his life and revealed that he doesn’t want his children to grow up and read ugly things about him. In his words:

“That day shaped me. Up until then I had struggled with many things, but when I was compared to a dog, a thought occurred to me that day. That when my son grows up and reads about his father on the Internet (he will read it), someone wrote that “his father is a dog”, that was for me… When my son and daughter grow up, they should read good things about her father. You should be proud of me.”

Aayush reveals how the comment had a positive impact on him

As the conversation continued, Aayush explained that while he was certainly taken aback by the level of hate such a comment brought, it still had a pretty positive impact on him as he immediately resolved to work on himself and become a to build a better version of yourself. He said:

“And a big portal wrote about me that I am a dog: ‘Aayush Sharma is a dog.’ Today I want to thank you, you made me become this person.”

Aayush Sharma revealed why he quit Salman Khan-directed films

After appearing in two films directed by Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma’s upcoming film Ruslaan is the first step the actor took out of his comfort zone as the film was directed by a new director. While such news was definitely misconstrued by many as some kind of conflict between him and his brother-in-law Salman Khan, the reality is completely different. In one of his interactions with Bollywood Hungama, Aayush explained that he took such a step only to explore new possibilities outside his comfort zone.

Aayush Sharma acknowledged Salman Khan’s immense contribution to his career

In the same interview, he acknowledged the immense support he has received from his superstar brother-in-law Salman Khan and remarked how much he appreciates this support as it is not something a lame person can get. The actor added that he felt the rest of his journey had to be his own, concluding:

“In your second film in which Salman is a part, you cannot play such an important role. It wasn’t a cameo of 5-7 minutes, he was an important character in the film. At some point the story revolves around my character. You don’t get this opportunity (often), but I got it. I have to be grateful and understand that this is the greatest support I can ever receive. Now the journey must be mine.”
