Aamir Khan Revealed the Secret to His Youthful Appearance at the Age of 59: “Good Genes, Don’t Go to the Gym, Don’t Use Cream”

Aamir Khan is one of the leading actors of the Hindi entertainment industry. Aamir Khan recently appeared in Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show. The Great Indian Kapil Show, where a fan asked him the secret to his youthful glow. There is no denying that even at 59, Aamir Khan is quite fit and looks much younger than his age. The fan praised him for his looks, which Aamir credited to his father. In Aamir Khan’s words:

“Abba Jaan’s genes were good and I don’t deserve any credit for that.”

Aamir Khan added that he is not a fan of gyms and workouts and prefers to take it easy. He’s also not a big skin care enthusiast and uses soap for everything. When a film comes up, he will work on his body to get the shape he wants and then go back to his lazy habits. Aamir further added:

“I don’t work out or even put any cream on my face. In fact, I learned what a shampoo was when I became an actor, otherwise I used soap for everything. I don’t do that.” Just one thing to make myself look good. I am working on my body for this film.


Aamir Khan said he was skeptical about playing the role of a college student 3 idiots

On the same show, Aamir Khan shared that he is not even ready to play the role of an 18-year-old boy in the film. 3 idiots, because he thought people would laugh at him. At that time, he was a 44-year-old actor playing such a young character. Talking more about it, Aamir added that he even told director Rajkumar Hirani to offer the film to a young actor. However, the latter only wanted to cast Aamir. Aamir revealed:

“I didn’t even do 3 Idiots because I thought the audience would laugh at me turning 44 and playing the role of an 18-year-old boy. It would be strange. I told Raju to take three youths But he was after me. I hadn’t worked with Raju till then, but the story he brought to me made me wonder how I will play this young character.

Sharing why he finally decided to do the film, Aamir Khan explained that Rajkumar Hirani advised him to let success follow him, which was again the central message of 3 idiots. Aamir said Hirani reminded him of how he followed his passion and made the films which were declared flops by critics when announced but later achieved the desired success. Aamir added that he never signs a film until he is sure about it, except for 3 idiots, He was convinced by the director. In Aamir’s words:

“My motto in the film is: ‘Don’t chase success, be capable, success will follow you.’ That was Raju’s main thought behind the film. He told me, “You’ve made movies that could never have been a hit… all of those movies were flops when they were announced.” Do you make those movies? “You didn’t think you would succeed, so throughout your entire career you have believed it.” Then I thought Raju was a great director until I was sure, but that was the first time I was blindfolded because of him.
