7-seater Mahindra XUV700 Gets Rs 3 Lakh Cheaper: New MX Trim Introduced

To attract more buyers to the already popular Mahindra XUV700, Mahindra has launched the new seven-seater XUV700 MX in the country. Positioned as an entry-level variant, the XUV700 MX diesel 7-seater is priced at Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the cheapest XUV700 variant with the seven-seater configuration.

Compared to its five-seat counterpart, the MX variant costs Rs. 40,000 more. However, on the other hand, it manages to undercut the AX3 7-seater by an impressive Rs. 3 lakh. This makes the XUV700 a more accessible option for families looking for additional seating capacity without breaking the bank.

What has changed?

Externally, the Mahindra XUV700 MX seven-seater remains exactly the same as the MX five-seater variant. It does not contain any additional features or design updates. Externally, it still has halogen headlights, a glossy black grille and no fog lights.

The seven-seater XUV700 MX also makes no compromises when it comes to the interior. It comes with a range of features including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity.

It also gets an analog instrument cluster with a 7-inch MID. Other features on the base variant of the XUV700 include a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, electric ORVMs and a center armrest with storage space.

Some reports suggest that the company might also offer the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine as an option. With the addition of the petrol option, the new 7-seater variant will appeal to more buyers. However, Mahindra is yet to confirm this addition. This new model will be available in five colors including Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Red, Red Rage and Napoli Black.

Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition

Just a few days ago, Mahindra also launched the XUV700 Blaze Edition in India. This new model has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 24.24 lakh, ex-showroom.
