7-mile McLaren Elva in white over red invites you to drive

  • This is a very rare McLaren Elva, one of only 149 examples ever produced and the only one ever seen with this special white and red color scheme.
  • It has a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 804 horsepower.
  • With just 7 miles on the clock, this Elva is virtually brand new and is likely to fetch a high price at auction.

Few brands excel at producing limited-edition models like McLaren, and among the special editions introduced over the years, the Elva stands out as one of the most sought-after.

Only 149 examples of the Elva were ever made. As with other models from McLaren’s Ultimate Series range, customers had almost unlimited options for customizing their cars from the factory. This special Elva with its unique features is the only one of its kind we have ever seen and it will soon be auctioned off by SBX Cars.

What makes this Elva different from most others? For starters, it’s painted in a glossy shade of white that extends across most of the exterior, including the hood vents and even the wheels. In contrast to the white paintwork, there are red accents on the sides and on the rear apron, including the complex diffuser.

In addition, you will find numerous exposed carbon fibers throughout the body of the supercar. The exterior looks so good that the car’s next owner may be afraid to drive it for fear of damaging the paint

The interior of this Elva also has a lot to offer. The seats are upholstered in red leather and feature white piping and contrast stitching for a dynamic touch. The rest of the interior reflects its genuine, driver-focused character, maintaining a minimalist aesthetic highlighted by numerous carbon fiber accents and a white dashboard that complements the exterior.

At the heart of the Elva is a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque that allows this open-air runabout to weigh in at a featherweight 2,641 lbs (1,198 kg). It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that produces 804 hp and 800 Nm of torque and drives the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

McLaren claims the Elva can sprint from zero to 100km/h in under three seconds and from zero to 200km/h in just 6.7 seconds, meaning it’s quicker than the track-focused Senna. Not too shabby.

The listing shows that this Elva has only been driven 7 miles (11.2 km), undoubtedly making it one of the lowest mileage vehicles in the world. It is located in Riedering, Germany, but we assume it could easily be exported elsewhere.

When it was new, the Elva cost buyers at least $1.69 million. A handful of examples have hit the used car market in recent years, but many have not sold at public auctions. The last auction of an Elva took place in November last year and brought in $1.51 million.

If you have a fortune to spare and want to spend it on something extravagant, feel free to check out the listing on SBX Cars Here.
