2025 Buick Enclave Unveiled with New Look and New Technology – Autoblog

The 2025 Buick Enclave has been unveiled and, as expected, combines Buick’s current corporate styling with the new-generation three-row SUV platform it shares with the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia. It also has plenty of standard features and technology, as well as Buick’s first implementation of Super Cruise.

The Enclave’s design is much boxier and more upright than the extra-curvy previous model. Even the wheel arches were straightened. There is also the shark-nose front apron, which comes from the Wildcat concept and adorns every other vehicle in Buick’s model range. The whole thing is also slightly larger than before, although Buick hasn’t specified by how much. And as with most Buick models, there is a base model Preferred as well as the Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir trim levels, which, in addition to various equipment features, are also optically optimized. The ST features black trim, including in the grille, while the Avenir uses bright metal trim and body-color wheel arches, as well as larger 22-inch wheels (Preferred and ST have 20-inch wheels).

By far the biggest upgrade, however, is the interior. What immediately catches the eye is the standard 30-inch instrument cluster and infotainment display. It has a curvy, inverted trapezoid shape that gives off a slight retro-futurism vibe. It sits on a low, wide and gently curved dashboard that features a small row of physical speed dial buttons above the center vents. A “floating” center console rises up to the dashboard but is not connected to it. Customizable ambient lighting is standard here, along with power, heated seats, wireless device charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Avenir expands the sound system to 16 speakers, adds a panoramic sunroof, a ventilation and massage function for the front seats, heated seats in the rear and a head-up display.

Mechanically, the Enclave is basically the same as the Traverse and Acadia. It uses the new platform and also gets the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder as the only engine option. In the Enclave, it makes 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, the same as the GMC and slightly more than the Chevy. An eight-speed automatic is the only transmission offered, although both front- and all-wheel drive are available. Towing capacity is again 5,000 pounds, and Super Cruise is available, making the Enclave the first Buick with the hands-free driving assistance system. Buick also boasts that the Enclave comes standard with automatic emergency braking with intersection assist, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, and lane-keep assist. The Avenir also features adaptive shock absorbers for improved ride and handling.

The price of the Enclave has not yet been announced. But that should come soon, as the SUV will be available this summer.
