After announcing the prices for the 11th generation accordance Last month, Honda Australia has released full specifications for the Toyota Camry hybrid rival.
Only one variant is offered here: the e:HEV RS priced at $64,900 per car.
That’s $3,000 more expensive than the previous VTi-LX hybrid, which was itself $4,000 more expensive than the outgoing 10th-generation entry-level gasoline model.
The price increase moves the Accord further away from the best-selling Camry and towards its more luxurious cousin, the Lexus ES, which starts at $65,540 before on-road costs.
While the new Accord is based on the same platform as its predecessor, its interior has been significantly modernized.
It is the first Honda with integrated Google functionality and embedded Google apps. These are visible on a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, as opposed to the previous model’s 8.0-inch device.
