Will Smith Gives Parenting Advice for Justin Bieber (Exclusive)

Will Smith shares a message of support for Justin And Hailey Bieber how they prepare for it welcome their first child.

The actor and father of three has supported the pop star for a long time and has a close friendship with his son. Jaden Smith. Now, he offers some fatherly advice in a new interview with ET’s Kevin Frazier.

“I have three kids and there’s really nothing anyone can tell you,” Smith said with a laugh. “It’s like we’re all winging it.”

The 55 year old Bad Boys: Ride or Die Star became a father for the first time in 1992 when his eldest son, 31-year-old Trey, was born. He welcomed son Jaden (25) in 1998 and daughter Willow (23) in 2000 with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. He shares Trey with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino.

“The best advice I ever got was that it’s not your kids, you know?” Smith told ET on Wednesday. “These children belong to God, and you are a shepherd.”

Smith explained that his job as a parent is to raise his children to “become who they already are” and “not to try to force what is expected of them.”

Justin reunited with Jaden last month at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. The longtime friends made headlines when They were seen hugging each other adorably Bieber leaned in to give his pal a kiss on the cheek.

The music festival was a family affair, with Will making a surprise appearance on stage during J Balvin’s performance and rapping his hit “Men in Black.” Justin was in attendance with his wife and made his own surprise appearance at Tems’ set, singing “Essence.”

“The strike happened. When she came back and we had to finish the film after the strike, she was really trying to figure out how to shoot it,” he said.

The 35-year-old enthuses High School Musical Alum is “a hard worker” who “wants to make it,” adding, “I was like, ‘No, don’t worry. You will always be able to tell your child that they were in that scene with you.’ .’”

Bad Boys: Ride or Die hits theaters June 7th.
