Somehow Tyra Banks has returned
In another world, Tyra Banks would kidnap the mayor of Gotham and leave Batman with over-the-top taunts. Unfortunately, in our world, their supervillain camp is reserved for reality television, talk shows, and the runway.
As Tyra, he replaced Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews DWTSit didn’t work so well for a show whose average viewership is around 63. But she was one perfect fit for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Almost two months before the event itself, Victoria’s Secret shared the news in a skit on Instagram.

The comeback in 2024 follows a six-year hiatus
From 1995 to 2018, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a staple in the modeling world. Then the company pressed pause on an event that was once in prime time.
There have been rumors that the blame lies with #MeToo or body positivity or trans model inclusivity, although the idea of canceling an event instead of including people doesn’t look particularly good. To be honest, the scandals surrounding Ed Razek’s bigoted comments and Les Wexner’s association with Jeffrey Epstein May have contributed to this.
Now the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back with a vengeance.
