Spoiler: Bernardo Silva is one of the many Manchester City players on this list.

The dynamic midfielder was irrepressible in the much-needed weekend win over Fulham, setting up two of his side’s four goals on a sunny day at Craven Cottage.

His cross to set up Josko Gvardiol’s second goal is definitely worth a look if you haven’t seen it yet, it was inches perfect.

It’s no surprise that Crystal Palace are looking like a much, much better football team since Michael Olise’s return.

Manchester United’s goal gave Palace their fifth win in their last six Premier League games at the weekend, scoring a stunning curling opener before their side’s third goal to secure all three points against Wolves.

Bryan Mbeumo

In a season where Brentford star Ivan Toney was either suspended or out of form, Bryan Mbeumo was usually the guy to step in in the final third.

He did this again on Saturday in the 2-1 win over Bournemouth, scoring his 14th and 15th Premier League goal contributions of the season at Vitality.

So it’s basically official: William Saliba is the best central defender in the world.

The defender put in his best performance again on Sunday against Manchester United, winning 100% of his duels, making six clearances and completing 90% of his passes.

He is the reason why Arsenal have the best defensive record in the Premier League this season.

Three goals in the last four games – that’s good for a striker, let alone a left-back.

Josko Gvardiol has been strangely effective in the final third of late and continued his fine form with a brace in a 4-0 win over Fulham. His first goal was particularly notable given his natural position on the pitch.

Erling Haaland

When the hour comes, the man comes.

Manchester City needed to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night and they did just that thanks to their mercurial number nine.

With a brace, Erling Haaland increased his tally to 27 this season and almost secured the Golden Boot. He also secured three points that almost secured Man City’s fourth Premier League title in a row. A nice day at the office.

John Duran

Aston Villa’s super sub made the biggest super contribution on Monday night.

After coming on as a substitute in the 79th minute, Jhon Duran scored two late goals to secure a dramatic comeback for his team and a 3-3 draw.

And thanks to Tottenham’s loss to Man City, that draw was enough to secure Villa a place in the UEFA Champions League next season.

Duran, you are now officially an Aston Villa legend.
