Sam Curran has made a significant impact in the final phase of the ongoing IPL 2024 as both stand-in captain of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and as an all-rounder before heading to England for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan and the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Curran has gone home after captaining Punjab Kings (PBKS) to a thrilling five-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in an IPL 2024 clash at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on May 15. The English all-rounder contributed with both bat and ball in PBKS’ impressive win over the Royals.

Before captaining an unbeaten 63 runs off 41 balls with five boundaries and three sixes, Curran finished the game with an impressive 2/34 in three overs against the RR.
