“Join the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 born this September!!” the 33-year-old country singer posted via Instagram on Monday, March 20, along with a photo of his 30-year-old Nicole and their 8 A series of photos of month-old son Tex wearing a “Big Brother” onesie.
Following the big announcement, the “Love We Created” singer asked fans to “turn on the audio for this post” in the comments section. The upload teases a song from the North Carolina native’s upcoming fourth studio album, getting oldwhich will drop on March 24.
“I’ve got my own youth / He’s too young to understand / When he’s a little older looking at the stage I’m standing on,” he sings on the track. “When I sing, he’ll know it’s about him, and I’ll take you with me / If it were up to me, we’d do everything together.”
The happy couple tied the knot in August 2020, after welcoming son Tex on Father’s Day in June 2022.
“Father’s Day past is hard to top 🥲,” Nicole captioned their baby’s Instagram debut at the time. “Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the coolest angel boy and I’m so glad I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days 🤍.”
For his part, Luke gushed about the milestone in one of his own posts, writing: “Well he decided Father’s Day would be a good time to show up. I totally agree. @nicolejcombs and I both love Up on this little guy. Mom and baby are healthy and we are now home with the family. Life is good. Everyone welcomes Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!”
Showing off three pregnancy photos on Instagram, the couple announced they are expecting their first child in January 2022. “@nicolejcombs this is going to be one hell of a ride,” the “Beautiful Crazy” singer wrote alongside the sweet post at the time.
The pair, who got engaged in 2018, married two years ago in Florida during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Yesterday was the most special day!” the bride wrote via Instagram after the wedding. “I am so happy to spend the rest of my life with you! Although we hope [we] Every single one of our family and friends could have been there and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year! “
Luke and Nicole often open up about their love story on social media. In August 2021, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary via Instagram.
“Happy anniversary my love,” the Florida native wrote alongside three photos of her and her boyfriend on their wedding day. “I’ve always enjoyed bothering you and I’m happy to be doing it for the rest of our lives. I love you! ❤️🔥.”
