Virat replied: “It’s just about not leaving unfinished business and not regretting it later, which I certainly won’t do. As soon as I’m done I’ll be gone, you won’t see me for a while. That’s why I want to give it my all until I play and that’s the only thing that keeps me going.”

Dominance of Virat in cricket

Virat has an impressive list of records. With 113 Test matches under his belt and 8848 runs at an average of 49, he excels in all formats. In this format alone, he has scored 29 centuries and 7 double centuries. In the ODI arena, the 35-year-old has played in 292 matches and scored 13,848 runs, including a record-breaking 50 centuries.
