Recently, independent journalist Faye D’Souza shared a post on her Instagram account condemning the incident in which MP Kangana Ranaut was slapped at Chandigarh airport. She mentioned that violence can never be the answer in India, no matter how much we disagree with a person’s views and statements. Faye also pointed out that it is inappropriate for security personnel in uniform to react violently. Soon after, many celebrities liked the post in support of Kangana and among them we could also spot Hrithik Roshan and Alia Bhatt.

The ugly fight between Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan
For the unaware, Kangana Ranaut created a stir in B-town when she spoke about her relationship with her ex Hrithik Roshan. Rumours of their affair started circulating during the film. Krishna3followed by rumours of their ugly breakup. Kangana accused Hrithik of not publicly accepting their relationship despite being together and even shared the list of explicit emails he sent her during that time. Kangana accused Hrithik of being indecisive and opportunistic and said that he was not ready to marry her as he never thought that Susanne Khan would leave him. Later, she also made fun of him by calling him her stupid ex-boyfriend.
Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF officer at Chandigarh airport
On June 6, 2024, a shocking incident took place when Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF security guard at the Chandigarh airport. According to several media reports, a woman guard named LCT Kulwinder Kaur had a heated argument with her when the actress went to the cordoned area for security check. Not only that, the woman also slapped Kangana on the face. Later, the CISF soldier cited the reason as being angry with the newly elected BJP MP for her earlier comments on the farmers’ protests in Punjab.

Kangana Ranaut’s reaction to the Chandigarh airport incident
As the slapping incident created a stir in the media, Kangana Ranaut shared the truth on her Instagram stories. She mentioned that she was fine and thanked her well-wishers for their numerous calls and messages. Kangana also revealed that when she was about to board her flight to Delhi, a CISF official slapped her on the face and also manhandled her. She was heard saying:
“Namaste friends, I am getting a lot of calls, both from the media and with my concerns. Firstly, I am safe, I am perfectly fine. The incident that happened today at Chandigarh airport happened during the security checkpoint Vehicle As we passed through the main security checkpoint, we saw the woman in the second booth who was in charge of CISF security. She was waiting for us to cross, came from the side and slapped me on the face and started abusing me. Why did he do this, he said that he supports the farmers’ protest and I am safe but I am worried that this fear is spreading in Punjab. How do we deal with this?”
