  • Various internal improvements were also made to the Vette’s 6.2-liter V8.
  • SVE has refrained from revising the design of the car, but offers several graphics.
  • The twin-turbo package costs $99,995, plus the price of a donor car.

The Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) team has introduced a limited version of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with two turbochargers. Production will be limited to 10 units for the 2024 model year, while 50 units will be produced for the 2025 model year.

Every single current Corvette Stingray leaves the factory with a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, but the SVE team wasn’t content to leave this engine unchanged. Two water-cooled 58 mm turbochargers with ceramic ball bearings are screwed on. The V8 was also upgraded with a forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam rods, forged 2618 aluminum pistons and high-strength APR head and main bolts.

The changes don’t stop there. The V8 also features CNC-controlled high-flow cylinder heads with an improved valve train, a new ground camshaft, a custom intake manifold and custom valve covers with integrated oil separators. These mechanical changes, combined with an individual engine mapping, enable an output of 1,000 hp. Interestingly, no torque figures have been provided for the car, and SVE has not provided any power figures either.

Regardless, we know that the Yenko S/C will be offered in coupe and convertible versions and will be available through GM dealers in the US and Canada.

The tuner foregoes major visual upgrades on the Vette, but instead installs new silver rims with an elaborate spoke design. The car also features Yenko S/C graphics, available in nine different colors or with a carbon fiber finish. Painted brake calipers are also available.

The interior of each of the 60 cars destined for production features a SYC logo on the headrests and a set of embroidered floor mats.

The price? A Yenko S/C 1000 HP package for the Corvette Stingray costs an eye-watering $99,995, and that’s before the price of the donor car itself. Assuming the standard Corvette 202344 C8 comes in at $69,995 without options or fees starts, that means an S/C 1000 will cost you at least $170,000.
