Ed from 90 Day Fiancé Says He Wants to Date “a Conservative Christian.”

When it comes to his next relationship, 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed is looking for something else. ET’s Rachel Smith sat down with the 59-year-old reality star to discuss the aftermath his shocking breakup with Liz and he talked about what he expects from a future partner.

90 Day Fiancé Viewers know that Big Ed doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to dating and has experienced brutal breakups with both rose – his ex in the Philippines, the dropped him in front of the camera – and finally Liz. Ed surprisingly tells ET that he’s looking for a conservative Christian woman now that he’s back in his hometown of Arkansas.

“It’s my home and I got my real estate license, I sell houses, I have a lot of fun,” Ed says of his current state of life. “I want southern charm, I want a conservative, you know, a conservative Christian is what I’m looking for.”

He also looks for women closer to his age, having dated Rose and Liz, both of whom were well over 20 years younger than him.

“Right now I’m meeting a lot of amazing women who are closer to my age, working in the same industry and nothing serious,” he shares. “There’s one I have, you know, I really like it. We have lunch every week and hang out quite a bit. She actually introduced me to a charity that I’m now involved with. It’s called “Remembering Nicholas…” and it introduced me to Rachel, the mother who lost her child at six months and told me her whole story and you have no idea what this person experienced and so it has touched my heart and I am now part of the foundation and will be when I come back on Friday I will be leading a golf event. It’s called “Swing For Change” and we raise money for families who have suffered the loss of a child under the age of two.

Ed said breaking up with Liz definitely sparked a change in him.

“It was a lot of things, but firstly, I had to be careful about how I behaved, how I treated women, how I spoke to women, and I’m not proud of that and the way I do it.” I behaved,” he admits. “I’ve been in therapy, for over two years, you know, and my therapist said, ‘Look, your behavior doesn’t have to define who you are, but you can change it.'” So I’m really working on it “To become a better version of myself.”

Ed has also lost some weight.

“I also lost 19 pounds. And I feel better, I really feel better,” he shares. “I think mentally, spiritually and physically, if I just stay on the right path, hopefully God will give me another chance.”

Ed says he is praying for Liz and has also reconciled with his daughter, who disapproved of his relationship with Liz.

“I’m at a very good point in my life and I’m really grateful for the opportunity… I was discovered by mistake, I never knew about the show,” he says of his life 90 Day Fiancé Trip. “But I never knew there was one 90 Day Fiancé, It was some kind of accident. It’s a scary thing that I went through and now I realize that I can somehow turn the situation around and do some good in the world. That’s exactly where I am now.”
