Boy, 12, arrested by police for murder after receiving receipt for dominoes
Police found the receipt and the body of Brandon Felton, 34, a few days after the pizza was delivered to a home near 38th Street and Townsend, according to media reports.
When police called the number for the pizza receipt, a boy answered the phone, court records show.
The same 12-year-old boy appeared before a juvenile court judge on Monday and is now charged with first-degree manslaughter and participating in a crime.
According to Fox 6 Now, his bond was set at $100,000. The boy’s name has not been released because of his age.

Boy killed grown man because he wouldn’t sell guns to children, according to criminal complaint
The alleged motive for the murder was that Felton would not sell the 12-year-old boy’s firearms, according to the criminal complaint.
Investigators eventually extracted text messages from the child’s phone from the day Felton died, Fox 6 Now reported, and found the following exchange:
defendant: “Or I should kill him… (for now).”
friend: “Don’t let him know we’re coming”
defendant: “He’s lying on the sofa…”
defendant: “Because I can bind him (now)”

The boy initially tried to deny ordering the pizza and insisted he had nothing to do with Felton’s murder.
However, his mother eventually took the child back to the police station after learning that the child had lied.

Authorities say they are still looking for more suspects and the investigation is ongoing
Investigators found the boy’s cellphone at the Felton home and then tracked it down after he was picked up by friends, the outlet reported.
A week before Felton was murdered, the boy reportedly told his friends he planned to steal Felton’s firearms, including an AR-15-style rifle, court records show.
Meanwhile, authorities said they were actually looking for more suspects, but did not reveal who they were or what role they might have played in Felton’s death.
Investigations into the crime are still ongoing.
