Are they together or not? That’s the question fans are asking Cardi B And offset Reunited at a 2024 Met Gala afterparty earlier this month. But nearly five months after the couple announced their split, Cardi, 31, is ready to share what could be next for her marriage.

“I’m thinking about it,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared Rolling Stone in an interview published on Thursday, May 16. “We think about it because we really love each other. It’s not even about love. We’re best friends and we’re like, ‘Okay. “Well, there was a time when I didn’t have a best friend or a support system.” It’s not even about, “How do you leave a partner?” How do you stop talking to your best friend?”

Cardi and Offset – who share Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2 – have had an on-again, off-again relationship over the years, with the most recent breakup occurring in 2023. In December, the Whipshots founder admitted on Instagram Live that she would ” to be single for a minute.

In her recent interview, Cardi admitted that she doesn’t always put her romantic relationship at the top of her priority list.

“We have our own bad things. We come from two different worlds,” she explained. “Sometimes I can’t be…not that I can’t be a wife. It’s just that my career is costing me my life. You know what I mean? My career comes first, then my children come second. And then sometimes I don’t realize that so many things are more important to me than my relationship.”

To this day, Cardi remembers the “hard time” she experienced with her husband while working on new music.

“It’s like, ‘Put out your album. You’re causing too much stress. When was the last time we went on vacation? And it’s like, ‘I don’t have time to go on vacation because this comes first,'” Cardi recalls. “That comes first and then my children come second. Then come the little things that I have to worry about. Sometimes I feel like I probably put my relationship last.”

During her chat with Rolling Stone, Cardi snuck into a FaceTime with Offset, 32, after getting a gold tooth. After praising the look, Cardi shared the status of her relationship with the Migos alum.

“We’re fine now,” she said, giggling.
