brandi boyd and Maximum Lux are grieving the sudden death of their youngest child. The married couple, who welcomed Baby Lux in November, posted the sad news on Instagram on Tuesday (March 7).
“Prayers for Brandi and my family…we lost our baby yesterday and are facing the toughest test I’ve ever known,” Marks wrote. “Watch your comments about me Brandi. TBH I won’t even post about this, but you get more from me than anyone else.”
While Max didn’t say why the baby passed away, Brandi has been outspoken about their son’s health since he was born prematurely last November. Max’s post seemed to imply that the months-old baby had stopped breathing, but did not involve any bad behavior.
“Little Lux passed. We and the emergency responders did our best to resuscitate him and it didn’t work, it was a tragedy. No foul, everyone got hurt, especially myself. I mean damn mine Last post my good friend passed, now this… If you’re going to bat for us, now is the time,” wrote Max.

Brandi also shared a message on Tuesday — asking Baby Lux for a signal from above.
“We need you, we love you. Send us a signal. Visit your brothers and sisters [their] sleep.let us know [you’re] Warm in heaven. I can’t believe I’m typing these words. Praying for my family. #Baby Lux. Give me the strength to keep going. I have to be strong for your brothers and sisters,” Brady wrote.
On Wednesday, Brandi shared another video of Baby Lux with a caption about missing her son’s smell, smile, cry and energy.

On Feb. 19, Boyd revealed on Instagram that Baby Lux is about six days away from surgery.However, at the time she said the baby was “struggle [a] heavy, bitter cold,” This means the surgery may have to be rescheduled. Her post offered no explanation for the surgery itself.
But this isn’t the first social media post to mention the surgery. Brandy also posted a message on Feb. 5 for parents with young children who need medical procedures.
“When your child has to undergo surgery at such a young age, all my parents have to be strong. Exist [put] Sleeping feels terrible, and [they’re] so little. I admire your strength very much. This is so hard for us but we will never lose heart and will only speak positivity and life to this earthly angel,” Boyd wrote on a photo of baby Lux crying.
It is unclear whether Baby Lux underwent medical procedures before his death on Monday (March 6). Despite the premature birth, the family was allowed to take Baby Lux home in December. Brandi shared a video of herself and her four children on Dec. 26.
A few weeks ago, on Nov. 9, Boyd revealed her waters had broken and she “not feeling good” with existence “Nervous and scared.” Since then, while Baby Lux remains in the NICU, she’s shared updates on her initial struggles and successes with milk production.
