Throughout the season, viewers have seen why Nicole and Mahmoud are not right for each other.
new episode last night 90 Day Fiancé: Another Way No exception.
Somehow, with the pair on the brink of divorce, Brother Ahmed managed to strike a short-term truce.
But that was many months ago. Are they still together?

Nicole Sherbiny and Mahmoud Elsherbiny aren’t exactly a fan-favorite couple. In fact, they may end up at the bottom of the audience as the season progresses.
neither of them seem to be monster – This is not the case for Angela Deem or Big Ed Brown. It’s debatable whether any of them are actual “villains” as the reality TV show makes them out to be.
They are in love. They are a couple of the right age and there is no scam involved. But love is not enough – not when you have compatibility issues like this.

Before returning to Egypt, Nicole felt anxious and unhappy despite her love for Mahmoud. It’s not hard to see why.
Within minutes of her return, Mahmoud was already checking her clothes.
Nicole is wearing a turtleneck, long sleeves, trousers and a coat. She was dressed like an aristocratic vampire. It’s still not enough for him.

Mahmoud’s family is very welcoming…but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy homecoming.
He lives in his mother’s house where many adults and many children come and go.
In the crowded room, Nicole became visibly overexcited. Feeling overloaded a lot…and because of Mahmoud’s mother’s status in the family, it’s always like that at home.

That’s what Nicole experienced in this house. But if Mahmoud has her way, that’s where she’ll spend almost all of her time.
Fatima, a fellow Egyptian immigrant (she is a Chinese woman who is married to Mahmoud’s brother Ahmed), explained that she doesn’t really get much out of the house.
In Egypt, some people hang out, some are couples, some are single women, and some are married women who hang out with friends. But not at Mahmoud’s house. Nicole’s extreme loneliness doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon.

There are also very practical downsides to living with Mahmoud (and his family). Namely, the bathroom.
Not only is the bathroom a bit of a nightmare (the toilet is in the shower, and Nicole has to use an eraser to drain the water down the drain after the shower), but there’s only one bathroom for the entire family.
Add to that the fact that Mahmoud’s mom was there and overheard all their (many) fights, and you’re in an awkward position.

This is of course why Nicole wants to move. She’s not talking about a radical relocation, or about bringing Mahmoud to America.
Instead, she suggested finding a place to live on her own – since they were both adults and married.
Mahmoud, however, is uneasy with the idea. He loves living at home, so that’s what he wants Nicole to do.

In Mahmoud’s family and those of his closest friends, the wife generally stayed home. They do not spend evenings with their husbands and friends.
(This is not common in Egypt, even Mahmoud admits it)
He did agree to introduce Nicole to his friend group. But he warns her not to ask him to do it again. So, in other words, Nicole has no chance of making friends in Egypt—even her husband’s friends.

Nowhere in her Egyptian life was Mahmoud’s expectations for her attire more apparent than in making her wear a burkini.
While the garment was not uncommon in Egypt, it was not common. Nicole has been to the Red Sea and seen beachgoers in one-piece swimsuits and bikinis.
Nicole loves swimming but hates wearing a burkini. This seems to be a recipe for chronic misery.

According to some viewers, the worst part of all of this is that Mahmoud wants Nicole to go through more changes.
He seemed to think everything was inevitable—from not wanting to go out and live her life again, to wearing a hijab.
Although Nicole meets his friends and she hopes to find her place, it really doesn’t look like a two way street.

Some aspects of their relationship were far worse. Namely, they fight.
In Season 4 Episode 8, Mahmoud chases her down the street and grabs her repeatedly. His anger was palpable…even though Nicole walked away because he had insulted her again.
Ahmed likes to make excuses that his brother just doesn’t know how to act with a partner. But is that all there is to it?

However, just last month, Nicole confirmed that she and Mahmoud were still together and in Egypt, writing: “We live in Giza.”
Additionally, as the season aired, the pair both went public with their relationship on social media.
So they are still together. Maybe, in the Tell All special, they’ll explain why.
