Meanwhile, Karan was asked by a media person to react to the fiasco where Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF official at Chandigarh airport. To this, Karan smiled subtly and replied with a strictly neutral answer. In his words:

“Dekhiye, I do not support or condone any form of violence, verbal or physical.”

When Kangana’s ex-boyfriend, Adhyayan Suman’s father, Shekhar Suman, condoned her slapping incident

This was not the first time that a member of the film industry has reacted to the incident where Kangana Ranaut was slapped at the Chandigarh airport. Earlier, her ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman and his father Shekhar Suman had reacted to the incident. At an event, the latter shared his point of view while Adhyayan fully agreed with him. Shekhar condemned the matter and said:

“This is very unfortunate and should not happen to anyone. It is illegal what they did. He deserves his punishment. I could understand that there was some resistance in his mind in society or that someone was lecturing him, but the way of expressing this was completely wrong. He could also go somewhere in a civilized way. Come on, you may even talk angrily, but you can’t touch anyone like that.”

Kangana Ranaut’s reaction to attack by CISF officer

Immediately after the news spread that Kangana Ranaut was assaulted by a CISF security guard at the Chandigarh airport, the diva and elected MP from Mandi took to her IG account and shared her first-hand reaction. Kangana mentioned how the woman had slapped her for not supporting the farmer’s protest earlier and said:

“Namaste friends, I am getting a lot of calls, both from the media and with my concerns. First of all, I am safe, I am perfectly fine. The incident that happened today at Chandigarh airport happened during the security check. As we were passing through the main vehicle security check, we saw a woman working as a security guard of CISF in the second booth. He was waiting for us to cross, came from the side, slapped my face and started abusing me. And when I asked him why he did that, he said that he supports the farmers’ protest and I am safe, but I am worried that the fear that has been created is increasing in Punjab. How do we deal with it?”
