Large milk traveled to Texas to catch Angel ReeseThe first WNBA game will take place on Wednesday, May 15th.

TMZ reports that the 25-year-old took a private jet to watch the former Lady Tiger’s professional debut. Although the Chicago sky Team wasn’t victorious, social media believes the Atlanta rapper’s presence was a victory!

Latto stops for Angel Reese

Latto was interviewed in court and stated that she was in the building to support her friend Angel. The Grammy winner said: “It’s the year of the woman. It’s the year of the woman. It’s the year of the girl. You know. I’m here for girl power.”

“Let’s go, Angel Reese.” Latto added with a little shoulder dance.

Latto’s sister Brooklyn Nicole was also in attendance at the game. The sisters took photos with the striker on the sidelines.

Social media praised Latto for being a “girl girl” and shared that they loved watching “Women support women.” Additionally, social media seemed excited “The Rise of the WNBA.”

Latto has been showing her love for Angel since last year when the pro baller appeared in her “Put It On The Floor” music video.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Reese was drafted to the Chicago Sky on Monday, April 15th. She was the number seven draft pick in the first round.

Om3.com reports that Reese will make $73,439 in her first year with Sky. In 2025, she will earn $74,000 per year. Furthermore, the number will rise to over $82,000 by 2026.

After learning she would be playing in the Windy City, Reese asked her followers to give her a new nickname. Angel’s nickname was “Bayou Barbie” when she played for LSU. Although she received many suggestions from fans, she revealed the final nickname to her followers.

“Hey, it’s Chi-Barbie.” She greeted her followers. “I want you all to know that I’ll still be the Bayou Barbie, but I’m going to Chicago now, so they’ve basically already passed me on to Chicago… the love from Chicago is deep and crazy,” She said.

Angel continued: “So I’m the Chi Barbie, I’m the Baltimore Barbie and I’ll always be the Bayou Barbie.”
