PUNE The District Court on Tuesday gave bail to Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) Commissioner Tukaram Supe in connection with the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) case.
Supe, who was the former head of the state government’s investigation department in judicial custody, has received conditional bail in two cases. Supe was arrested on December 17, 2021 by the Pune cyber police.
Supe is accused of taking bribes and helping applicants through the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) instead of money.
The city police cyber cell had filed a 3995-page indictment against 15 people including Supe.
During the raid on Supe’s home, police had seized it 2 crore cash and gold jewelry.
