Video shows ‘traitor’ accused of helping Russians captured by Ukrainians

Dramatic images that came to light this week show that a Ukrainian woman, who would serve as a spy for Russia, is being detained by Ukrainian troops in her small village.

Ukrainian special forces were joined by intelligence officers as they landed in the city near Kharkiv and arrested Nadiya Antonova, according to The Sun.

Antonova, the secretary of the local council, was accused of handing over names of soldiers, police and anti-terrorism specialists to the Russians while they were in power in the region, the report said.

She also passed on the name from others with knowledge of the terrain and area.

In the video, heavily armed troops can be seen around the woman, who appears to be in her 60s, and presenting her paperwork before removing her.

“Traitor! Do you think you’ve found a traitor?” Antonova shouted when she was arrested. “Shame on you. I was here the whole time. How do you think we live here? “

The village in the Kharkiv countryside was recently liberated by Ukrainian troops after it was occupied by Moscow during the first invasion.

Ukrainians have launched a nationwide crackdown on those accused of aiding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “special military operation” in the country.
