Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was able to return to full training this week as he recovers from a injured ligament and a joint in his left foot.
Coach Steve Kerr said Curry is “day-to-day” but will not fit for the Warriors in the postseason until after he has scrimmaged. The team will face next expected scrimmage on Thursday.
A source told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Curry remains a “close call” to be available Saturday for Game 1 of the Warriors’ first-round series against the Denver Nuggets.
Curry has missed the last 12 games of Golden State since suffering the injury in a March 16 loss to the Boston Celtics.
